We are looking to hire a candidate with the skills sets mentioned and experience for one of our clients within the life science Industry.

Job Summary:

We are seeking aFresher (6 months 1 year experience)with a academic or internship experience inNext-Generation Sequencing (NGS) pipelinesand bioinformatics workflows.

The ideal candidate should have exposure toIllumina sequencing data,secondary analysis pipelinesand workflow tools likeNextflow. This role focuses onsoftware testing, verification, and validation (V&V) of bioinformatics pipelines used in medical devices and LDT products within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and executingtest protocolsfor bioinformatics software and pipelines.
• Translateuser and software requirementsinto test cases and validation scenarios.
• Collaborate with bioinformatics scientists to definetest strategies, inputs, and methodologies.
• Perform functional testing to validatepipeline accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Generate and maintaintest reports and validation documentation.

• Supportdesign control activitiesand software lifecycle documentation.
• Contribute to documents such asSRS, design specifications, and test plans.
• Assist inrisk assessmentsand traceability of requirements.
• Ensure compliance withregulatory and quality standards.
• FollowQuality Management System (QMS)processes and best practices.
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree inBioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience(internships, academic projects, or industry exposure).
• Exposure toNGS pipelines and/or PCR-based workflows.
• Basic understanding ofsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC)and testing concepts.
• Familiarity withGit, Agile, or CI/CD fundamentals.
• Awareness ofregulated environments(FDA, Medical Devices, Pharma/Biotech).

• Basic programming skills inPython.
• Experience working withIllumina sequencing data / secondary analysis pipelines is a plus
• Familiarity withNextflow or similar workflow management tools.
• Exposure tocloud platforms -AWS HealthOmics is a plus.
• Understanding ofDocker, Kubernetes, or containerization concepts.
• Basic knowledge of standards like21 CFR Part 11, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971is a plus.
