Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant/CMA

This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8:00 AM-4:30 PM or 7:30 AM- 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA (23502).

Responsibilities:

A Day in the Life of a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant/CMA- GI:

As a Certified or Registered Clinical Medical Assistant in a Gastro/ Neuro Practice, you will be responsible for providing excellent patient care while abiding by all HIPAA laws and regulations in an outpatient clinic setting. Your role is instrumental in the assessment process for the clinic visit which includes obtaining vital signs, reconciliation of medication, rooming patients, documentation in patient charts (EHR), observing patients under treatment to identify progress and side effects of medications, etc., communicating with patients', family or friends to provide advice, comfort and release instructions. assisting the provider during the patient’s visit, and any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. This position is in the heart of Norfolk, VA, downtown 23502!
