Residential Janitor

Metro Services is seeking to immediately fill Residential Janitor positions for a Hospitality and Residential Services company in East Tawas, MI. This is a Temp-to-Hire job. Apply now!

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, residential living spaces, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas

• Perform room turnovers by changing linens, sanitizing bathrooms, and cleaning all surfaces

• Restock guest amenities and maintain housekeeping supply inventories

• Complete deep cleaning tasks, including washing windows, cleaning appliances, polishing fixtures, and sanitizing high-touch areas

• Wash, dry, fold, iron, and organize clothing, towels, and bed linens

• Organize living spaces, closets, and storage areas to maintain a clean and orderly environment

• Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when replenishment is needed

• Report maintenance concerns, damaged property, lost-and-found items, and safety hazards

• Provide professional customer service while respecting guest privacy and confidentiality

$15.00/hour

Shift details to be discussed during the interview process.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• 1–3 years of previous cleaning, housekeeping, janitorial, or hospitality experience preferred

• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation standards

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and complete tasks efficiently

• High level of discretion, professionalism, and confidentiality

• Familiarity with commercial cleaning products and safe cleaning practices

• Ability to pass a background check, if required
