About the Opportunity
A respected, fee-only wealth management practice in Colorado Springs is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join the firm as part of a long-term succession plan.
The practice has been acquired by a national firm and along with its founder is seeking a successor who can work alongside her, earn clients' trust, contribute to growth, and ultimately assume a leadership role over a planned 3–5 year transition. The Colorado Springs firm serves approximately 57 high-net-worth households representing $136M in assets under management.
This is a unique opportunity to combine the culture and autonomy of a boutique advisory practice with the resources of a larger national wealth management platform.
Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with high-net-worth clients and their families.
- Participate in financial planning, investment reviews, and client meetings.
- Develop comprehensive financial plans, including retirement, tax, estate, and wealth transfer planning.
- Support and grow existing client relationships.
- Contribute to business development efforts and attract new clients.
- Work closely with the founder on client transition and succession planning.
Qualifications
- CFP® designation or active pursuit strongly preferred.
- 7+ years of wealth management or financial planning experience.
- Experience serving affluent and high-net-worth clients.
- Strong relationship management and business development skills.
- Existing book of business is a plus, but not required.
- EA, CPA, or strong tax planning experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fee-only fiduciary advice preferred.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Colorado Springs.
