Job Description
This position is responsible for managing day to day SCM activities as well as leading the site’s strategic SCM planning.
                                            
Duties and Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead site level supply chain goals and objectives to meet company and customer expectations.
  • Manage day to day supply chain management (SCM) activities.
  • Develop and manage strategic planning such as risk mitigation, inventory minimization, etc…
  • Support schedule flexibility to minimize inventory exposure and maintain performance to cost targets.
  • Lead and monitor SCM weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities, including ETA accuracy, PO (purchase order) past due tracking, material expedites, and E&O (excess and obsolete) updates.
  • Escalate material issues as needed.
  • Support customers in the global logistics initiatives, including importing compliance and duty tax payment processes.
  • Manage performance and provide work direction and career development to supply chain staff.
  • Fully understand SAP MM modules per MRP, ROP, item master, and purchasing data
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
 
  • Proven analytical abilities
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills
  • MRP/ERP experience required
  • Strong with Microsoft Office applications required
  • VMI (vendor managed inventory) experience required
  • Demonstrated success in implementing SCM productivity processes
  • Previous management and leadership experience a plus

Education and Experience:
 
  • Master’s degree in Business or related field required.
  • 5 years of SCM experience in managing $1B spend.
  • 5 years of logistics management required.
  • 10 years experience in electronics and high-tech industry preferred.
  • APICS certification preferred.
  • Contract manufacturing experience is a plus.
