Location: New Jersey & Lower Manhattan, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday | No weekend call | Rare evenings
Compensation: $100,000–$125,000 per year + Full Benefits
A busy and highly respected spine surgery practice serving patients in New Jersey and Lower Manhattan is seeking a skilled Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM) Technologist to join our growing team. The Neuromonitoring Technologist will provide intraoperative neuromonitoring services during complex spine procedures to support patient safety and surgical precision. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff to ensure optimal neuromonitoring performance throughout each case.
ResponsibilitiesPerform intraoperative neuromonitoring (SSEP, MEP, EMG, TOF, EEG as applicable)
Set up and troubleshoot monitoring equipment in the operating room
Interpret and communicate neurophysiologic data in real time
Document findings accurately and thoroughly
Maintain equipment and ensure proper calibration and functionality
Collaborate effectively with surgeons and OR teams
Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
Bachelor’s degree in Neurophysiology, Biology, Neuroscience, or related field preferred
CNIM certification strongly preferred (or eligible)
1+ year of IONM experience preferred (spine experience highly valued)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
Ability to travel between New Jersey and Lower Manhattan locations
Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking skills
