Company is seeking a Tableau Architect to lead our enterprise Tableau environment and analytics strategy—someone who can architect scalable reporting, build high-impact dashboards, and translate data into actionable insights.
This is a hands-on, high-visibility, customer-facing role where you’ll partner across the business and with external stakeholders to shape how data drives decisions.

What You’ll Do
Tableau Platform & BI Leadership
- Architect, administer, and optimize Tableau Cloud (performance, security, scalability)
- Manage user access, authentication, and external integrations
- Define and enforce reporting standards, governance, and design best practices
- Embed dashboards into applications and enterprise tools
- Leverage Tableau APIs for automation and system integration
Analytics & Insights
- Build interactive dashboards and executive reporting
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to define KPIs, metrics, and business logic
- Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting layers
Data Engineering Collaboration
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries across multiple systems
- Design aggregates and semantic layers for high-performance reporting
- Collaborate with Data Engineering on data models and pipelines
- Support QlikView to Tableau migration
- Document data flows, metrics, and dashboards for governance
Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
- Work directly with internal teams and external partners
- Gather requirements and deliver impactful, data-driven solutions
- Present insights to technical and non-technical audiences
- Train and support users on BI tools and best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and serve as a Tableau subject matter expert
Qualifications
✔ 5–10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Analytics / Reporting
✔ Deep expertise with Tableau (Cloud, administration, architecture)
✔ Advanced SQL skills (multi-database environments)
✔ Strong experience with data visualization & dashboard design
✔ Solid understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse, and data modeling
✔ Experience building semantic layers & performance-optimized datasets
✔ Strong communication skills—able to translate data into business insights
✔ Experience working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
Preferred
- Tableau APIs, dashboard embedding into applications
- Experience with QlikView → Tableau migration
- Cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery)
- Python for analytics, automation, or integration
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and privacy frameworks
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs a combination of duties in accordance with departmental guidelines:
•\tDevelop robust and scalable test automation frameworks and solutions in support of various testing efforts (Functional, system, integration, regression, end to end, performance, etc) that adhere to IT best practices and compliance standards
•\tAutomate additional supporting activities such as test data creation and maintenance, as appropriate Creation and execution of automated test cases for both UI applications and web services
Develop and build test automation progress and execution reports to be shared across the IT organization
•\tParticipate in product reviews, design sessions and other agile ceremonies as required to ensure understanding of applications and systems under test
•\tPartner with development and dev ops teams to integrate test automation suites and frameworks into CI/CD pipelines
•\tAssist with the development of quality assurance best practices, standards, metrics and reports
•\tAnalyze documentation and technical specifications to determine intended functionality
•\tAssist in project planning and provide input for QA estimations
•\tAssist with the creation and execution test plans and scripts to ensure systems and applications meet specifications Collaborate with UAT team during test execution phase. Analyze and reproduce issues discovered by IJAT team during their testing
•\tContribute to the delivery of superior quality products that meet specifications, compliance standards and are delivered on time.

Education
•\tBachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Experience
•\t3+ years of experience in development, SDET or similar role
•\t3+ years of experience automating modern UI and web service tests, utilizing the following or closely related tools/technologies:
•\tTest automation frameworks and technologies such as TestNG, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured, etc. o Programming and scripting technologies such as: Java, python, SQL, Git, Maven, etc.
•\tUse of various development and testing tools such as: SoapUl, ReadyAPl, Postman, ADO, Jmeter, Confluence, etc.
•\tExperience with agile testing methods as a member of an agile team
•\tExperience in the following is preferred:
•\tJavaScript, Angular, Spring Framework, Junit, Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, Git and branching strategies, performance test creation
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
•\tStrong knowledge of SDLC and agile testing and delivery processes
Sufficient technical skills to be able to develop complex test automation solutions
•\tExperience in automating tests for web applications including UI, database, and API's Experience in performance / load testing
•\tCollaborate with software/systems personnel in application testing, such as system, unit, regression, load, and acceptance testing methods
•\tAnalyze formaftest results to discover and report any bugs, errors, configuration issues, and interoperability flaws
•\tAbility to work with Development team to schedule software releases and coordinate customer updates, sometimes after-hours
•\tThe candidate must be self-directed and a fast learner, flexible enough to work on new technologies as well as legacy components
•\tExcellent documentation skills; experience with software project planning, test planning and tracking software preferably Azure DevOps and Azure Test Plans.
•\tExperience with build and deployment pipelines
•\tStrong problem-solving skills.
