Material Handler (Inventory & Materials Pulling)

Labor Finders is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a temp-to-hire opportunity in San Leandro, CA. This position offers a full-time schedule on a day shift, Monday through Saturday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week and the potential to become permanent after 6 to 18 months. The role focuses on inventory control, pulling and verifying materials and parts, staging products, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production operations, and performing daily cycle counts. The ideal candidate has prior material handling experience, strong attention to detail, a solid work ethic, and is eager to grow within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Pull, verify, and stage materials and parts for production and distribution
• Maintain accurate inventory by identifying, labeling, and organizing materials
• Deliver materials and supplies to work centers as needed
• Perform daily cycle counts and maintain inventory records
• Move materials between storage, production, and loading areas while following warehouse safety procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of material handling experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to read, write, follow instructions, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Basic computer skills and ability to use warehouse management software
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials throughout the workday
• Must be able to pass a background check
