General Labor- Truss Assembler

Our client, a leader in the construction industry, is seeking a General Labor- Truss Assembler to join their team. As a General Labor- Truss Assembler, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: General Labor- Truss Assembler

Location: Chesapeake, VA

Pay Range: $19.00

What's the Job?

• Build trusses by connecting lumber with metal plates according to design specifications
• Complete start-up checklists to ensure all equipment is ready for production
• Set up frameworks on the building table based on design plans
• Place lumber pieces accurately and join them with metal plates
• Perform quality checks to ensure accuracy and safety before moving to the next truss

What's Needed?

• Experience in manufacturing or related fields preferred
• Ability to use a variety of tools safely and effectively
• Ability to perform repetitive work at a fast pace while standing for long periods
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds without assistance

• Construir cerchas conectando madera con placas metálicas según las especificaciones de diseño
• Completar listas de verificación de inicio para asegurar que todo el equipo esté listo para la producción
• Configurar marcos en la mesa de trabajo según los planos de diseño
• Colocar las piezas de madera en la posición correcta y unirlas con placas metálicas
• Realizar controles de calidad para garantizar precisión y seguridad antes de pasar a la siguiente cercha

¿Qué se necesita?

• Experiencia en manufactura o campos relacionados preferida
• Capacidad para usar diversas herramientas de manera segura y efectiva

• Capacidad para levantar hasta 45 kg sin ayuda
