Licensed Nursing Home Administrator

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to lead the overall operations of our Skilled Nursing Facility. The Administrator is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and census growth. This position provides strategic leadership while fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and resident-centered care.

Essential Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the day-to-day operations of the skilled nursing facility.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS, OSHA, and Department of Health requirements.
• Lead and support department heads in Nursing, Rehabilitation, Social Services, Dietary, Environmental Services, Admissions, and Business Office functions.
• Maintain survey readiness and implement corrective action plans as needed.
• Manage facility budgets, financial performance, labor costs, and operational expenses.
• Monitor quality measures, resident satisfaction, and clinical outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure exceptional resident care and services.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase census and maintain strong community relationships.
• Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing staff while promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Ensure effective risk management, life safety compliance, and emergency preparedness planning.
• Build and maintain relationships with residents, families, referral sources, hospitals, physicians, and community partners.
• Analyze operational and financial reports to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator License (LNHA) in the applicable state.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Long-Term Care Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities.
• Proven success in survey management, quality improvement, census development, and financial oversight.
• Demonstrated leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
• Experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and operational performance metrics.
• Ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
