Press Brake Operator

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 4 years of experience in press brake operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic job shop environment
• Organized, detail oriented, and dependable
• Ability to solve problems
• High school diploma or GED

Job Duties:

• Perform all duties of an Entry-Level Press Brake Operator
• Program, set up and operate press brake to produce new parts meeting specifications, including customer and internal requirements
• Interpret work orders, drawings, and blueprints
• Load the machine with sheet metal for production and adjust machine speeds as necessary
• Measure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates and rulers
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches
• Use a CNC controller to input information into the machine
• Perform complex programming using all features of the press brake
• Resolve problems relating to materials, operations, quality or other factors as they arise, including routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures, ensuring machine is calibrated, cleaned, and operating correctly
• Complete and maintain paperwork
• Identify assembly parts
• Set up light gauge metal
• Configure bend allowances for sheet metal
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Demands:

• 20/20 vision with or without correction, use of hands 100% of the time, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn.
• Must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 lbs

Temporary to Hire

Monday-Friday plus Saturdays when needed

$18.00-25.00/hr DOE
