Warehouse Associate

Location: Madison, GA
Pay Rate: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM


Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join a fast-paced warehouse and sterilization operations team. This role is responsible for unloading inbound shipments, verifying inventory, operating material handling equipment, building sterilization loads, and ensuring products are accurately received, stored, and processed.

Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and may be required to support operations at both the Madison and Covington facilities as business needs dictate.


Key Responsibilities

  • Safely unload inbound trucks and verify product quantities and documentation.
  • Stack and organize products according to designated pallet patterns.
  • Receive materials for sterilization processing and verify catalog numbers, lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates.
  • Complete inventory transactions using handheld scanning equipment and warehouse management systems.
  • Build sterilization loads according to established procedures and palletization diagrams.
  • Place biological indicators (BI spores) into sterilization loads as required.
  • Initiate and maintain sterilization load documentation.
  • Locate and store materials in designated pallet and bin locations.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and support warehouse operations.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and operational procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents, procedures, and instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.


Skills & Abilities

  • Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
  • Basic computer and scanner experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.


Physical Requirements

  • Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and standing.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse conditions, including heat, humidity, noise, and exposure to industrial equipment.
