Job Details- Position: Surgical Technologist
- Location: Tacoma
- Contract Length: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Day Shift
- Schedule: 4x10
- Experience Required: 2 Years
- Weekly Pay: $1900 to $2080
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Set up operating rooms with instruments, supplies, and equipment before procedures
- Pass instruments, supplies, and equipment to surgeons during procedures while anticipating surgical needs
- Ensure proper handling, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment
- Perform sponge, instrument, and sharps counts according to facility protocols
- Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and draping
- Maintain strict aseptic techniques and infection prevention standards
- Assist with room turnover and preparation for subsequent cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and support quality patient care initiatives
- Adhere to all patient safety and regulatory guidelines
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
- Current CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience
- Current BLS Certification required
- Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced operating room environment
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Commitment to patient safety and delivering high-quality care
