Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will operate and support blending equipment to help manufacture food products at our Louisville, Kentucky facility. You will work onsite in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production while collaborating with your team to meet daily operational goals.
A Taste of Your Responsibilities
- Load and feed raw ingredients, including 50-pound bags and boxes, into blending equipment in accordance with established recipes and production schedules
- Operate, monitor, and adjust machinery to maintain optimal performance and product quality
- Perform sanitation and preventive maintenance tasks on blending equipment and work areas
- Use a forklift to stage raw materials and support production flow
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety standards, and personal protective equipment requirements
- Identify and escalate food safety or operational risks to leadership
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate production updates with team members and leadership
Ingredients Required for Your Success
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of basic machine operations and settings
- Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
- Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices and food safety standards preferred
- Capability to lift, push, or pull materials up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work overtime and varying schedules as needed
Physical Requirements

- Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.

- Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
