Freight Coordinator

Mancan is looking for Freight Coordinator for a Local Medina manufactuing company.
This is a 1st Shift 6:00am 2:00pm pay rate $18 -$20/hr.

The Freight Coordinator is responsible for coordinating transportation and logistics for a company's products. They work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure that shipments are delivered on time, while maintaining cost-effectiveness and quality standards.

Work experience requirements:

Plan, implement and manage transportation strategies, policies, and procedures
Manage daily transportation operations, including route planning, carrier selection, and freight consolidation
Ensure all shipments are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations
Coordinate with carriers and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods
Monitor shipment progress and communicate any issues or delays to internal teams and customers
Analyze transportation data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings
Work closely with internal teams, including sales, purchasing, and production, to ensure seamless coordination of logistics
Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers
3+ years of experience in transportation and logistics
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Detail-oriented and organized
Education Requirements:

High School diploma or G.E.D.
Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
Must be able to pass a drug test and background
