Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Tech 2, Equipment Maintenance

Duration: 12 months contract

Pay rate: $21 /hr on w2

Location: Sumter, SC

Shift: 8am – 8pm (E shift), 3 days on-2 days off-2 days on-3 days off-schedule format

Job Description:

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Must have hands-on knowledge of tools such as feeler gauges and experience working with conveyors, gearboxes, pneumatic/vacuum systems, chain drives, and machine repairs.
• Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, optimizing machine performance, and minimizing downtime. Ideal backgrounds include manufacturing, automotive mechanics, HVAC, machining, or industrial maintenance.

Education: High school diploma/GED required.
