BR: $42- 50

6 month contract to hire

Interview Process: 1 and done in person with a project manager- could be 2 to put them through a design test is needed.

Start Date: ASAP

Additional Information:

Team Fishel operates at a federal level and will be drug screened again before being converted to full.

• They conduct oral swabs when converted for their drug test and it will pick up anything over the counter too.

Overview:

A client of ours is hiring an Electrical Designer for our Tampa, FL operation. The Electrical Designer manually and electronically designs and drafts detailed drawings, such as wiring diagrams and layout drawings for construction projects. Evaluates design work and supporting documents to verify conformance to industry codes and customer specific specifications and standards.

Must Haves:

• 1-2 year of distribution design experience
• Education: Highschool or GED
• Strong communication skills 
• Comfortable talking with customers/ clients
• Knowledge of electrical distribution design principles in both overhead and underground applications
• AutoCAD
• Blue Beam
• GIS work experience

Plusses:

• College degree
• Comfortable working in person environment
• GIS work experience for an Electric company's internal data systems
• • Companies like Duke & Florida Line Company

Day to Day:

• Some field work not on daily basis just when your given a project
• • 70% office 30% field
• Work with supervisory team to design projects
• Utilize utility standards
