Job Title: Warehouse Picker
Shift: Monday–Friday, 11 AM – 7 PM
Pay Rate: $20.50 per hour
Position Overview:
As a Warehouse Picker, you play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders are picked accurately and efficiently for timely shipment. Using advanced warehouse technology, you’ll be responsible for selecting, sorting, and preparing materials—primarily wire products—while maintaining a well-organized workspace. This position offers the opportunity for growth and professional development within our employee-owned company.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick and stage wire products per customer order using handheld scanners and Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, as needed to transport selected items
  • Pack, label, and prepare shipments, including less-than-truckload orders, according to company standards
  • Restock picking locations and assist with receiving and inventory replenishment
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment by following all safety protocols and participating in daily safety inspections
Requirements:
  • Comfortable with heights and physical tasks such as lifting, climbing ladders, and working in a dynamic warehouse setting
  • Minimum age: 18 years old
  • Able to pass pre-employment physical testing
  • Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
  • 2+ years of warehouse or order picking experience preferred
  • Previous experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS) strongly preferred
  • Experience in large warehouses is a plus
