Hybrid with Billable Hour Requirement of 1750
Starting Salary: $170,000 - $190,000
The Opportunity
A highly respected and growing law firm seeking a Senior Associate Attorney with strong experience in Insurance Coverage and Bad Faith litigation. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys complex, high-level work and wants to join a collaborative, well-established team.
In this role, you will work closely with experienced attorneys and clients on sophisticated insurance coverage matters, including policy interpretation, claim disputes, and litigation strategy. You will have the autonomy to manage your own matters while benefiting from strong team support.
Responsibilities
- Advise clients on insurance coverage issues, including policy analysis, claim handling, and dispute resolution
- Manage and contribute to a caseload of complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, and coverage opinions
- Represent clients in litigation, mediations, and negotiations
- Conduct in-depth legal research and develop strategic recommendations
- Stay current on legal and regulatory developments in insurance law
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across matters
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- 5+ years of insurance coverage and/or bad faith litigation experience
- Active Washington State Bar admission required; Oregon admission is a plus
- Strong litigation, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage complex matters independently
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail
