Requirements
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential
- Prior operating room (perioperative) experience
- Ability to work day shift schedule 07:00–17:00, 40 hrs/week
- Available to start 02/23/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment
- Eligible to work in Kansas and meet facility onboarding requirements
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments, supplies, and equipment for surgical cases
- Pass instruments and assist surgeons and the perioperative team during procedures
- Perform and document instrument, sponge, and sharps counts per policy
- Turn over rooms and restock supplies between cases to maintain workflow
- Monitor and ensure adherence to aseptic technique and patient safety standards
- Communicate and coordinate with nurses, anesthesia, and surgical staff to support efficient OR operations
