Overview
Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (LTCA) in Lawton, Oklahoma. Travel - Temporary Assignment. Start date 07/20/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay between $1,304 and $1,346. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: Days with flexible start times. Work involves inpatient rehabilitation and acute care units within a care delivery setting.

Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to assigned patients on inpatient rehabilitation or acute care units, following the plan of care and under supervision as required.
- Conduct patient evaluations, establish goals, implement treatment sessions, and document progress and changes in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with occupational therapy, physical therapy, nursing, and case management teams to support patient outcomes and discharge planning.
- Facilitate co-treatments with PTA colleagues in the acute care setting when appropriate.
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, activities of daily living, and home exercise programs to support continued progress after discharge.
- Ensure compliance with licensure requirements (NBCOT, BLS - AHA) and facility policies; maintain accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Active Oklahoma licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA); NBCOT certification is required.
- BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) certification.
- Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
- Skills checklist current to within 1 year, pertinent to the specialty.
- Ability to work on inpatient rehabilitation and acute care units; capable of rotating approximately 3 times per quarter.
- Willingness to consider new graduates; recent traveler experience preferred.
- Oklahoma state license must be valid for practice in the posting location.
