Gelato by Patrizia Pasqualetti (www.patriziagelato.com) is an artisan gelato company with locations in Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Boston, and New York City. Led by second-generation gelato chef Patrizia Pasqualetti, she learned the art of gelato from her father, who opened his first gelateria in Orvieto, Umbria, Italy in 1980.

The different in Patrizia’s gelato begins with the ingredients. Their flavor, color, and aroma guide every creation. Patrizia selects only the finest, turning natural ingredients into artisan gelato.

ABOUT THE JOB

At La Gelateria by Chef Patrizia Pasqualetti, we don’t just serve gelato – we create experiences. Rooted in Italian craftsmanship, quality and attention to detail, we are looking for someone to join our front of house team to deliver a warm, thoughtful and memorable experience with every scoop of gelato. 

This job is onsite in Silicon Valley (Santa Clara, CA) and is a full-time position. 

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Welcome and assist guests through our gelato selection
• Provide recommendations to customers
• Serve gelato with precision and ingredients
• Maintain a clean an inviting space for our guests
• Working closely with the team to ensure smooth service
• Bring a good attitude each day and impart to customers the joy of gelato
• Work in collaboration with other team members and the location manager with duties as needed

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work on weekends
• Strong collaboration skills
• Previous Customer Service experience in the culinary industry is a plus

Required qualifications:

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 18 years or older
