D2G Group is seeking a procurement, sourcing, and supplier management professional to drive supplier strategy, cost optimization, and sourcing execution across a diverse portfolio of products. This role is responsible for supplier selection, cost management, margin improvement, and supporting successful product launches.
Working closely with Category Management, Product Development, Quality, Logistics, and Marketing teams, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are sourced efficiently, suppliers perform at a high level, and business goals are achieved.
This is a high-impact individual contributor role where your analysis, recommendations, and decisions will directly influence product success and company profitability.
🎯 What You'll OwnSupplier Strategy & Cost Optimization
Evaluate and select suppliers based on cost, quality, capabilities, and lead-time performance
Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
Analyze supplier quotes and develop cost comparisons that support margin objectives
Negotiate pricing, lead times, and supplier terms for new and existing products
Identify opportunities to reduce costs, improve value, and optimize supplier performance
Monitor supplier performance and support ongoing supplier improvement initiatives
Product Execution & Launch Support
Coordinate sample development, product approvals, and supplier readiness activities
Partner with Product Development and Category Management teams to ensure product requirements are successfully executed
Support new product launches, including SKU setup, draft purchase orders, and supplier readiness
Identify opportunities to improve speed-to-market and support category growth initiatives
Data-Driven Decision Making
Build and maintain costing, margin tracking, and sourcing-related data
Analyze supplier performance, sourcing risks, and market trends
Use data and analytics to support sourcing decisions and supplier recommendations
Identify opportunities for supplier optimization, rebidding, and process improvements
Cross-Functional Partnership
Collaborate with Category Management, Product Development, Quality, Logistics, and Marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle
Partner with Quality Assurance to resolve product and supplier quality issues
Support internal stakeholders with supplier coordination, sourcing expertise, and issue resolution
Serve as a key link between internal teams and external supplier partners
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered
3+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, or supply chain operations
Experience working directly with suppliers and evaluating cost, quality, and value tradeoffs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience negotiating supplier pricing, lead times, and commercial terms
Experience with cost analysis, margin management, or product sourcing
Familiarity with supplier evaluation and sourcing best practices
ERP system experience
Ability to travel up to 10%

Starting at $75,000 annually, with higher compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
In accordance with Massachusetts pay transparency requirements, this role has a minimum base salary of $75,000. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, expertise, and internal equity.
