Dock Helper

Larkin Industries, Inc., located in Pelham, AL, is seeking a dedicated shipping dock workerto join our high-performance manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be able to work well on a team to accomplish daily shipping goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and Unload freight from Trucks and trailers.
• Verify shipments against manifests and report discrepancies.
• Operate Forklifts and other dock equipment safely.
• Stage, sort, and organize freight for outbound shipments.
• Keep dock area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA Guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical training preferred.
• Proficiency using measuring instruments (tape measures, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
