Laboratory / Medical Lab Scientist (MT / MLS / MLT)

Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Shift: 5x8 Nights
Schedule: Rotating Weekends

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist / Medical Laboratory Technician to support a hospital laboratory team. The ideal candidate will perform laboratory testing, ensure accurate reporting of results, and maintain compliance with laboratory quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing
• Analyze and verify test results accurately
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment
• Ensure quality control and regulatory compliance
• Maintain laboratory records and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams
• Follow laboratory safety and infection control procedures
• Support specimen collection, processing, and testing activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience
• ASCP Certification required:
  • MT (Medical Technologist)
  • MLS (Medical Laboratory Scientist)
  • MLT (Medical Laboratory Technician)
• Strong laboratory testing and quality assurance knowledge
• Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
