Location: Bishop, CA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $30.00 per Hour
Position OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality patient care and support in a healthcare setting. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure patient comfort, safety, and well-being.
ResponsibilitiesPatient Care & Support- Assist patients/residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support patients with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
- Assist with feeding and encourage proper hydration and nutrition.
- Provide incontinent care while maintaining patient dignity and comfort.
- Make beds and maintain clean, safe, and organized patient rooms.
- Measure and document vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration rate, and oxygen saturation.
- Observe, document, and report changes in patients’ physical, emotional, or mental condition to nursing staff.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transportation as needed.
- Follow infection control procedures and patient safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Adhere to facility policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards of care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Certified Nursing Assistant experience required.
- Strong patient care and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Excellent observation and reporting abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
