Job Title: Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Location: Flushing, NY
Type: Contract
Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 Hours Per Week Guaranteed
Pay Rate: $40 - $47/hr

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Travel Clinical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist for an exciting Contract opportunity in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures and regulatory standards.

• Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory results accurately and efficiently.

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation and equipment.

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, quality control, and laboratory safety protocols.

• Maintain accurate patient records and laboratory documentation.

• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care.

• Utilize laboratory information systems (LIS) and computerized laboratory applications.

• Adhere to all hospital, state, and federal regulations governing laboratory practice.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related scientific field required.

• Active New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.

• Strong computer literacy and experience utilizing laboratory information systems.

• Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
