Location: Albany, GA
Position is contingent upon contract award. This is an anticipated opportunity, and hiring is dependent on contract funding and customer approval.
The Warehouse Specialist Supervisor provides on-site supervision of warehouse operations and personnel in support of Government requirements. This role serves as the primary point of contact in the absence of the Warehouse Manager and is responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality execution of daily warehouse activities while coordinating directly with Government and contractor stakeholders.
- Lead daily warehouse material operations and activities
- Supervise contractor personnel and ensure effective performance and accountability
- Coordinate with Government representatives and internal teams to support mission requirements
- Oversee receiving, inspection, storage, issuance, and tracking of materials
- Ensure accurate inventory accountability and transaction processing
- Provide timely and accurate operational reporting
- Implement cost controls and prevent inefficient work practices
- Conduct spot checks to ensure compliance with contract requirements and procedures
- Maintain operational records and documentation
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, environmental, and safety regulations
- Support quality control, inspections, and corrective actions
- Ensure personnel training and qualifications are maintained
- Monitor workload and adjust operations to meet requirements
- Support inventory reconciliation and reporting activities
- Ensure proper use of Government logistics systems and databases
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) within the past five (5) years
- Active Secret security clearance required
- Knowledge of hazardous material handling and storage procedures
- Experience with inventory accountability and warehouse operations
- Valid driver’s license
- U.S. citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain installation access
