Anesthesiology Locum Opportunity – Colorado

A large Level I Trauma Center is seeking multiple Board-Certified Anesthesiologists for ongoing locum coverage beginning in late October 2026. Providers will join a well-established anesthesia team supporting a high-volume surgical program with a mix of general, trauma, neuro, vascular, orthopedic, and obstetric cases.

Compensation: Hourly: $390/hr, Overtime: $585/hr.

Monday–Friday

7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Weekend Day Coverage

Four consecutive shifts:

In-house coverage

5:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Up to four consecutive night shifts

Availability Requirement:

Must be able to provide at least two consecutive weeks of coverage per month, including weekends

Required

Board Certified in Anesthesiology

BLS

ACLS

PALS/APLS

Trauma Level I experience outside of residency

Ability to perform Central Lines

Comfortable treating Pediatric patients

Experience with open vascular procedures

Ability to provide two consecutive weeks of coverage per month, including weekends

Current NPDB Self-Query report within 30 days of presentation

Preferred

Active Colorado License or IMLC Letter of Qualification

Local candidates

Ability to cover two weekends per month

Clean malpractice and background history

Credentialing

Estimated credentialing timeframe: approximately 90 days

Additional Notes

No first-time locums candidates

Providers should indicate preference for day shifts, night shifts, or both

High-acuity anesthesia experience is strongly preferred
