Locations: Irvine | Los Angeles | Lehi, UT | Dallas, TX | Denver

Flexible Schedule: Remote + Hybrid (2 days in weekly) if local) - Preferred Hybrid

The Position: We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager – Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) to join our growing tax practice and offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, Lehi, UT, Dallas, & Denver - Flexible for in-office 2 days weekly on a Hybrid schedule( preferred) or Remote. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity focused on advising high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, closely held businesses, trusts, estates, and investment entities on complex tax matters. This role offers significant client interaction, mentorship opportunities, technical leadership responsibilities, and a clear path for continued advancement. You'll work closely with Partners and executive leadership while serving as a trusted advisor to an elite client portfolio with sophisticated tax planning and compliance needs.


What You'll Do

  • Lead tax compliance and consulting engagements for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, family offices, trusts, estates, partnerships, and closely held businesses.
  • Serve as a primary client advisor on complex tax planning strategies and wealth preservation initiatives.
  • Review complex individual, fiduciary, partnership, LLC, and corporate tax returns.
  • Provide guidance on estate, gift, trust, and succession planning matters.
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and proactive planning strategies for clients.
  • Research and analyze federal, state, and local tax issues affecting high-net-worth clients.
  • Manage multiple client engagements while ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and trusted advisory support.
  • Mentor, develop, and review the work of Tax Seniors, Supervisors, and Managers.
  • Collaborate with Partners and firm leadership on client service strategies and business development initiatives.
  • Participate in client meetings, presentations, and strategic planning discussions.
  • Stay current on evolving tax laws, regulations, and industry developments impacting UHNW taxpayers.


Qualifications:

*Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field.
  • CPA license required.
  • 8+ years of public accounting tax experience.
  • Extensive experience serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses.
  • Strong technical expertise in individual, partnership, trust, estate, and gift taxation.
  • Experience managing complex tax engagements and client relationships.
  • Proven ability to review tax returns and provide strategic tax planning advice.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred:

  • Master's in Taxation (MST) or related advanced degree.
  • Experience working with family offices and multi-generational wealth planning.
  • Business development and client growth experience.
  • Experience mentoring and leading high-performing tax teams.
