Kauai Child Care Trainer (On-call)

PATCH is hiring a Training Instructor to lead scheduled classes and serve as an on-call representative.

This is a position that requires flexibility and availability.

• Lead instruction in scheduled classes for PATCH participants.
• Ensure that all necessary materials and supplies are readily available for each training session.
• Thoroughly review and familiarize oneself with training materials and equipment.
• Coordinate and manage paperwork related to each class, including distribution, collection, and completion.
• Prepare and clean up before and after each training session, setting up and disposing of any necessary materials.
• Return training materials and paperwork to PATCH offices in a timely and efficient manner.
• Participate in or review minutes from all stat Trainer meetings, staying informed and engaged.
• Stay current with training updates, curriculum revisions, and DHS-mandated topics through regular training and education.

Minimum three (3) years experience providing training to adults who work with children and

Minimum twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field AND at least ten (10) years ECE experience.

OR

Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related field AND at least three (3) years ECE experience.

• Applicants must show the above experience and proof of credits.

This position requires physical presence in Hawaii.

AND

At least ten (10) years of ECE experience, minimum twelve (12) credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field, in addition to the requirements above.

AND

Bachelor Degree or higher from an accredited college in ECE or related field, in addition to the requirements above.
