Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Nurse Supervisor, RN to lead and coordinate daily nursing operations within our specialty practice. This role is responsible for supervising clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and supporting physicians in delivering exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of nursing staff
- Oversee clinical operations and address nursing practice issues
- Direct patient care functions, including:
- Assessment
- Planning
- Implementation
- Evaluation
- Provide professional nursing care in alignment with established standards
- Assist physicians with patient treatments and clinical procedures
- Complete and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Foster a caring, friendly, and professional environment for patients, families, and staff
- Ensure adherence to Mercy’s philosophy and values in all interactions
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Licensure & Certifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR certification
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Strong clinical and patient care expertise
- Knowledge of medications, treatments, and diagnostic procedures
- Ability to educate patients and support self-care programs
- Skill in performing and assisting with medical procedures
- Calm and effective response in emergency situations
- Ability to interpret and apply policies and clinical guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and leadership abilities
- Basic computer skills for clinical documentation and data entry
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs regularly
- Prolonged standing and walking during shifts
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, twisting, and squatting
