Paramount Physical Therapy and Rehab is a well-established outpatient orthopedic and general physical therapy clinic proudly serving the Greater Houston, Sugar Land, and Katy areas since 1999. Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Front Desk Office Administrator who will serve as the primary point of contact for patients while managing critical administrative and insurance-related functions. This role is essential to the daily operations of our clinics and requires someone who is confident, organized, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
This position is not limited to greeting patients—it requires hands-on involvement in scheduling, payments, and clinic coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Admin & front desk lead, greeting and checking in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and manage confirmations and reminders
- Verify insurance benefits directly through portals, including copays, coinsurance, deductibles, and visit limits
- Collect patient payments and maintain accurate financial and billing records
- Coordinate closely with physical therapists and PTAs to ensure smooth clinic flow
- Perform daily administrative duties including faxing, scanning, filing, and data entry
- Accurately transfer and manage patient and insurance data across systems
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times
Required Skills & Traits
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and insurance processes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Outlook and basic office software
- Experience using EMR systems (WebPT or similar preferred)
- Excellent multitasking, organization, and communication skills
- Professional, reliable, detail oriented and patient-focused
- Ability to work independently while being a strong team player
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a medical receptionist or front desk administrator (preferred but not required)
- Prior experience in a physical therapy or medical office strongly preferred
- Comfortable managing high patient volume and administrative workload
Job Details
- Job Type: Full-time (Part-time considered)
- Pay: $15.00 – $18.00 per hour
- Higher pay range based on qualification & experience
- Schedule:
- 6, 8 to 10 hour daily shifts
- Monday–Friday
- Weekends as needed
- Work Location: In person
