Overview

Primary & Urgent Care is a community-focused practice providing high-quality medical services to the San Bernardino Mountain communities. Our Running Springs clinic serves as a vital resource for residents between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, offering a hybrid of scheduled Primary Care and walk-in Urgent Care for both adults and pediatrics.

We are seeking a versatile Medical Provider (MD/DO, NP, PA) to join our dedicated and supportive physician-owned private healthcare team. You will manage a broad clinical scope, treating everything from routine wellness to acute injuries.

As a key member of our medical team, you will work closely with a supervising physician, medical assistants, and other Advanced Practice Providers. Our clinical support staff deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This position offers a unique opportunity to practice and learn while serving a diverse patient population, and truly make a difference in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical exams, and diagnostic assessments.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic conditions in both urgent and primary care settings.
  • Formulate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians as needed.
  • Order and interpret laboratory, radiologic, and diagnostic tests.
  • Perform in-office procedures such as suturing, Pelvic exams, I&D, splinting, wound care, injections, family planning services and more.
  • Prescribe medications responsibly and manage ongoing therapies.
  • Provide preventive care, health counseling, and chronic disease management.
  • Educate patients on wellness, lifestyle modification, and medication compliance.
  • Document all encounters accurately and efficiently in the EMR system.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
