System Administrator

Responsible for day to day operation and support of wide and local area networks and services throughout the company. Must also maintain user accounts, monitors network status, and identifies and resolves network problems

Duties:

• Assists with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure and WAN.
• Installs and upgrades computer software and network equipment in server rooms and work stations.
• Create network and email accounts for new users
• Set up computers for new users and ensures delivery of equipment to users in multiple locations.
• Maintains company directory (phone and email)
• Answer all basic trouble calls/emails and enters work orders into our tracking software.
• Administers and maintains Proprietary Systems developed in house as well as all other operating systems.
• Participant in the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
• Purchases software, hardware and other IT supplies as directed by management.
• Administers the telephone system, including telephone switches.
• Creates new hire phone and voicemail extensions; routes extensions to appropriate locations and updates information as Innovator seating assignments change.
• Promotes responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

Skills/qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years’ experience performing basic and more complex trouble shooting, backup, archiving, and disaster recovery.
