Medical Assistant (Orthopedic Clinic) – Contract Position

Location: Seguin, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Compensation: $19 - $21 per hour
Employment Type: Independent Contractor

Quality Response Medical Staffing (QRMS) is seeking a reliable and patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a busy orthopedic clinic in Seguin, Texas. This is a great opportunity to work alongside experienced providers in a professional specialty clinic while enjoying the flexibility of a contractor role.

What You'll Do

• Room patients and obtain vital signs
• Document patient histories and assist with intake procedures
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
• Assist providers with orthopedic procedures and patient care
• Maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
• Enter accurate information into the EMR system
• Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care
• Deliver exceptional patient service and support

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant certification
• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience
• Orthopedic, sports medicine, or specialty clinic experience preferred
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and professionally in a fast-paced clinical setting
