A-Line Staffing is seeking an experienced Patient Access Case Manager for a fully remote opportunity with a leading healthcare organization. Patient Access Case Manager Compensation

  • Pay rate of $20/hr


Patient Access Case Manager Highlights

  • 100% Remote position
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday-Friday schedule
  • Must be flexible to work between 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM CST
  • Paid training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (attendance required)
  • Equipment provided by employer
  • Benefits available after 90 days of employment
  • 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service


Patient Access Case Manager Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound and outbound calls from patients, healthcare providers, specialty pharmacies, and insurance companies
  • Manage patient cases from benefit verification through medication delivery
  • Complete insurance benefit investigations and coverage verifications
  • Assist with prior authorizations, appeals, and reimbursement processes
  • Educate patients regarding insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and available support programs
  • Coordinate care with providers, pharmacies, and payers to ensure timely patient access to prescribed therapies
  • Process patient enrollments received via phone, fax, and electronic submissions
  • Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Resolve patient and provider inquiries while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records within internal systems


Patient Access Case Manager Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • 2-4 years of healthcare, patient support, case management, reimbursement, benefits verification, or customer service experience preferred
  • Previous Hub Services or Patient Support Program experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance plans preferred
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
