Medical Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Medical Assistant to provide direct, hands-on support to our healthcare providers and patients. This position focuses entirely on clinical care, laboratory tasks, and treatment workflows. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to clinical excellence and patient safety. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES include: Direct Patient Care-measure and record vital signs, document patient symptoms, and update medical histories in the EHR system. Provider Assistance-prepare examination rooms, hand instruments to physicians during procedures, and assist with minor clinical treatments. Laboratory Operations-perform blood draws, collect specimens, perform basic point-of-care laboratory tests, and process logs. Clinical Procedures-administer prescribed medications, give injections/vaccines, change wound dressings. Infection Control-sanitize and sterilize medical instruments, restock clinical supplies, and maintain clean, compliant examination areas. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION - High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred; CERTIFICATION-Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) CLINICAL SKILLS-Proficiency in phlebotomy, administering injections, and measuring vital signs is essential; SOFT SKILLS-Strong patient empathy, excellent clinical communication, sharp attention to detail, and a strict adherence to HIPAA and safety protocols.
