Sr. Java Full Stack Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to join a collaborative Agile development team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise web applications and services. This role will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, application development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern Java development, cloud-hosted applications, Agile methodologies, and enterprise integration technologies.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements to design and develop application solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise web applications and services.
• Develop applications using Java and modern web technologies.
• Participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and support automated testing initiatives.
• Support DevOps practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to security standards, coding best practices, and application governance requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Maintain and enhance cloud-hosted applications and supporting infrastructure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing applications using Java.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Experience developing and supporting cloud-hosted applications.
• Strong experience with:
  • Java 8+
  • Spring Boot
  • RESTful services and APIs
  • HTTP, XML, XSLT, and XPath
  • Git-based source control systems
• Experience troubleshooting and supporting production applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with React or Angular (Angular 2+).
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and CI/CD practices.
