The Director of Clinical Services will lead the clinical team and staff, overseeing all levels of patient care. This role involves moderate to extensive direct patient care management, ensuring compliance with hospice regulations and driving quality improvement across clinical operations. The director will also support staff training and development while managing regional travel requirements to maintain high standards of patient safety and service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical oversight for all levels of patient care
- Lead, support, and manage the clinical team
- Manage patient care to ensure quality and safety
- Ensure regulatory compliance across clinical operations
- Develop and conduct staff training programs
- Engage in strategic planning to improve clinical services
- Evaluate team and individual performance
- Travel regionally to support clinical service locations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in clinical services management
- Expertise in hospice clinical operations and healthcare compliance
- Skilled in staff development and strategic planning
- Strong background in quality improvement and patient safety
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
