Nurse Practitioner - Corrections - Now Hiring

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner II to work at a facility in Goochland, VA . These are registry positions with our company.

Pay Rate: $87 / hour

Shift Details:

• Monday-Friday 8a-4:30p

Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients’ health conditions
• Provide primary or specialty medical care
• Develop and manage treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests
• Perform physical exams and health screenings
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments
• Educate patients and families about health conditions
• Document patient care and clinical notes
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
• Provide follow-up and preventive care services

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-year previous working experience as a Nurse Practitioner II
• Exceptional time management and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Great communication skills to talk with patients about treatment options.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Board certification and state license in VA
