Job Description
The Administration and Operations Coordinator supports the financial, administrative, and programmatic operations of the Japan‐America Society of Dallas/Fort Worth. This role manages day‐to‐day bookkeeping, cash receipts and disbursements, invoicing, collections, and payroll processing in QuickBooks. The position also provides administrative support for events, programs, membership activities, and general office operations.
This is a hands‐on role ideal for a small nonprofit with limited staff, requiring accuracy, reliability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities. Key functions:
1. Financial Management & Bookkeeping - assist with deposits, payments, payroll, tracking expenses and budget
2. Administrative & Office Support - support including phones, email inquiries, maintain vendor files, and membership information
3. Events & Programs Support - event registration, attendee lists, payment processing, and onsite check‐in
4. Membership Support - renewals, invoicing, and payment processing
