Electrical Journeyman

ProTrade is actively hiring experienced Electrical Journeymen for long-term commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for dependable electricians with strong conduit experience and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Scope of Work:
• Running and bending EMT, rigid conduit, and other raceway systems
• Installing cable tray, strut, supports, and hangers
• Pulling and terminating wire
• Installing panels, disconnects, transformers, lighting, and electrical equipment
• Reading blueprints and performing layout work
• Working with switchgear and distribution equipment
• Assisting with equipment installs and electrical tie-ins
• Troubleshooting and completing punch list items as needed
• Working alongside other trades while maintaining production and safety standards

Journeymen should be able to work independently, read prints, and lead portions of work as needed. Top Helpers should have solid commercial or industrial experience and be comfortable working with conduit, wire pulls, and assisting mechanics on all phases of the project.

Requirements:
• Commercial or industrial electrical experience required
• Experience with EMT and rigid conduit installation
• Must have basic hand tools
• Ability to work overtime and weekends if needed
• Reliable transportation
• Strong work ethic and ability to work safely in an active jobsite environment
