Mechanical Engineer Designer

A & S ENGINEERS INC. is an established private company offering Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing Engineering Design and Commissioning Services with branches in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California.

We have an opening for a full time Mechanical Engineer Designer for our Walnut Creek office. The candidate should be highly organized and able to self-manage. The candidate needs to have excellent attention to detail, computer skills and be a thoughtful and attentive communicator - both verbally and in writing.

The Candidate should have the ability to work on multiple projects. This role requires working on a wide variety of projects in market sectors such as Commercial, Education, Federal, Health Care, Residential and Technology. The Mechanical Engineer will be involved through all phases of the project, design and construction. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 Years’ Experience in Mechanical Engineering and be familiar with:

-HVAC design including: T24 energy modeling and Energy Pro load calculations.

-Equipment selection

-Knowledge of WORD and EXCEL

-AutoCAD. Revit is a plus

-Must be able to have reliable means of transportation in order to go to site visits and evaluate existing equipment

-Must be able to complete small to medium projects with minor supervision

Salary: $70,000-100,000
