Job Description
Garland Stainless Steel Manufacturing Company seeking an Experienced Finisher/Polisher
Employment type: 2nd Shift-Full-Time (4) 10-hour days
Monday-Thursday 3:15pm-1:45am
Duties include but not limited to:
* First Piece approvals and Final part inspections
* Finish and Polish Precision Metal stainless steel equipment using hand grinders/tools (18-14 gauge being the most common)
*Capability of performing routine maintenance on hand tools as needed
Job Requirements:
*1-3 years’ experience in a sheet metal job shop environment grinding and polishing different alloys of metals, but primarily Stainless Steel
*Ability to match material grains using the appropriate hand tools
*General knowledge of sheet metal finishing
*Knowledge of appropriate wheel dressings, speeds and sequence of operations for achieving the proper finish a must. Candidate must possess Leadership Skills, be a Self-starter, Motivated, and Dependable
Bilingual Candidates (English/Spanish) is a PLUS, but not Mandatory. Candidate must be a Self-Starter, Motivated, and Dependable
Compensation: $18-$20 Hourly Depending on Experience
