Position Summary

Quality “Plus” Services is hiring Industrial Journeyman Electricians to support projects across manufacturing, processing facilities, distribution centers, and heavy industrial environments in the La Porte area.

This role is for electricians who can step onto a jobsite and be productive immediately—handling installation, terminations, and layout work with minimal supervision.

Core Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems (120V–480V+)
• Run and install EMT, IMC, and rigid conduit, including complex bends and larger sizes
• Install cable tray, supports, and structured routing systems
• Perform terminations for motors, panels, switchgear, and control systems
• Assist with instrumentation and low-voltage/control wiring as needed
• Read and work from blueprints, one-lines, schematics, and layout drawings
• Perform work safely in active industrial environments following site procedures
• Support new construction, maintenance, and project-based work
• Coordinate with supervisors and other trades to meet production schedules

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TDLR)
• 5+ years of electrical experience in industrial or similar environments
• Proven experience with:
• • Conduit bending and installation (EMT and rigid)
  • Equipment terminations (motors, panels, switchgear)
  • Wire pulling and cable tray installation
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong understanding of NEC and safe work practices
• Must be able to pass background and drug screening
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, processing plants, or heavy commercial/industrial projects
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
• NCCER Certification
• Experience with motor controls, VFDs, or basic instrumentation
• TWIC Card (a plus, not required)

Work Environment

• Active industrial job sites
• May include:

• Overtime and weekend work may be required based on project demands
