Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

The established caseload consists of approximately 24 high school students or 20 middle school students, providing rewarding opportunities to deliver individualized instruction in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification
• Experience working with high school or middle school students in a special education setting
• Deep understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with math intervention programs is highly desirable
• Passion for fostering inclusive, positive, and productive learning environments

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, standards-based instruction aligned to students’ IEPs
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the unique needs of learners
• Maintain accurate student progress data and collaborate in IEP meetings
• Partner with general education teachers, specialists, and families to support each student’s success
• Manage caseload documentation and compliance efficiently
• Provide targeted intervention, especially in mathematics, as needed
