Nurse Manager Neuro Trauma PCU | No Weekends | Urgent Hiring

This department supports the care of Level II trauma patients and comprehensive stroke patients, requiring a high level of clinical coordination and expertise. Under the supervision of the Director, the Progressive Neuro/Trauma Nurse Manager oversees the staff of the Progressive Neuro/Trauma Unit and works closely with the department director, clinical educator, and resource nurses to guide the department's growth, patient satisfaction, physician relationships, and fiscal responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a multi-disciplinary healthcare team
• Oversee patient care delivery and ensure best practices
• Manage staff scheduling to optimize unit coverage
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide staff development
• Coordinate care among team members and external providers
• Implement quality assurance initiatives
• Manage budget and resource allocation
• Develop and enforce unit policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience (Coordinator, Manager or higher)
• Critical Care experience preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
• NH RN License or Compact State RN License
• ACLS & BLS within 30 days of hire
• Will consider a CNC, supervisor or a seasoned charge nurse (5+ yrs)

Compensation- 100K- $148K based on years of experience
