Job Description
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a pivotal role supporting student success as a contracted occupational therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This .75 FTE, full-time opportunity is ideal for a professional passionate about helping children and adolescents develop skills necessary for learning and daily life. Set within a collaborative educational setting, you will play a key part in supporting individual student needs and ensuring each student’s growth is prioritized.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Experience working in school-based settings or with pediatric populations
- Comprehensive understanding of IEP processes and special education regulations
- Strong documentation and evaluation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Adaptable, organized, and able to manage a dynamic caseload
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ occupational therapy needs
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Provide targeted direct and indirect therapeutic interventions
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other educational professionals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of assessments, treatment, and progress
- Offer consultative support for classroom adaptations and accommodations
