Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled professional for a contract role serving a diverse K-12+ student population. The district supports approximately 1,679 students and is looking for a committed individual to fill this vital position, following the relocation of the previous School Psychologist.
This contract position runs from August 18, 2026, through June 7, 2027, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, mirroring a typical seven-and-a-half hour school day (including a 30-minute duty-free lunch). The exact daily hours may vary based on the assigned school building.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Pennsylvania certification as a School Psychologist (required)
- Proven ability to support a range of educational disabilities across K-12+ grade levels
- Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills within school settings
- Effective communicator when collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to manage paperwork, assessments, and case management efficiently in a busy district
- Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect psychological services, including assessment and counseling, for students with educational disabilities
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized interventions and behavioral supports
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and student support teams
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and interpret psycho-educational evaluations
- Assist in creating inclusive, positive learning environments throughout the district
